Awards

(1) Awards will be presented in two categories: overall ranking and age group ranking. All prize money will be awarded in New Taiwan Dollars (NTD).
(2) Overall Awards: The top male and female finishers will receive prize money and trophies according to their overall ranking. The number of award recipients is outlined below.

(3) Age Group Awards: Awards for each age group in the Half Marathon (21K) and Fun run (10K) will be determined based on the number of registrants per group.
※ The actual number of awardees in each category will depend on the number of registrants: 3 awardees for fewer than 50 participants, 4 for 51–100 participants, 6 for 101–200 participants, and 8 for over 201 participants (maximum 8 per group).

Award Terms & Conditions
  • Participants who win an overall placement will not be eligible for age group awards.
  • Winners are subject to income tax according to the tax regulations of the Republic of China (Taiwan): Domestic participants must pay a 10% tax on prize money exceeding NT$20,000. Foreign participants are subject to a 20% tax regardless of the prize amount. The taxable value of the awarded flight ticket will be based on the lowest fare of the booked class at the time of issuance and will be withheld by the organizer accordingly.
  • Winners must present a copy of their National ID at the time of prize collection. Foreign participants must provide a passport or ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) for verification.
  • All cash prizes will be issued via bank transfer. Winners must complete the required documents and provide accurate remittance information.
  • Only the actual award winners may go on stage to receive their prizes; no proxy collection is allowed. All prize money and trophies must be claimed in person with the participant’s race bib or valid ID. Failure to appear on stage or collect the trophy before the end of the event will be regarded as a forfeiture. No mailing of trophies or post-event claims will be accepted.
  • If any participant is reported and confirmed to have used banned substances, the organizer reserves the right to publicly disclose the violator’s name. The participant’s result will be disqualified, and no prize money or award certificate will be issued.
  • (4) To encourage participants who finish within the designated time limit, a finisher medal and towel will be awarded. Participants who do not finish within the time limit are not eligible to receive these items. Regardless of race completion, all participants may collect one post-race meal by presenting their race bib.
  • (5)The Half Marathon course is measured according to international standards (AIMS certification). Water stations and refreshment points will be set up along the route.
